What ever happened to O.J Simpson's kids?

I thought he had custody of them and they live in FL with him. He did an interview about 3-4 years ago on ....dateline or primetime...one of those news shows. He said that they never talk about their mom with him, and he made it pretty clear that he keeps up the front with them that he is innocent...very sad.
