What kinds of food can you make in a wok?

There's the obvious stir-fry and pad thai, but what about soups and stews? Could I make scrambled eggs in them? Looking for a very flexible piece of cookware since I can only buy one piece plus a few accessories at the moment ($75 gift card to williams sonoma from Christmas + $50 of my own cash).
