Is it okay to use Morton Salt in salt solution for piercings?

I know it's probably not, but I keep reading that the thing you don't want in your ear is iodine, and that's why you can't use normal salt, but on the Morton Salt container it says it does not supply iodine. The only two ingredients are Salt and Calcium Silicate. I was just wondering if it's still possible to use this for salt solution, which I'm doubting.
