Is it true the Packers wouldn't be here with our Halas?

I heard that the Packers were going to move from Green Bay because they had no funding for a new Stadium and the people of Green Bay wouldn't fund it. Then Halas went up and basically rallied for the Packers and got the people to fund the new Stadium now known as Lambeau Field. So if it is true Packers your welcome and every time you sit in your seat at the Stadium just think it's the House Halas Built.
